New Design, Better Readability

The time has come: Our website has gone live with a new design.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve made changes, tweaked things, discussed ideas, scrapped some, reorganized, and hopefully finally arrived at a design that feels right for TRSI. We wanted the site to be more modern and clearer, without losing what makes it unique.

Because, of course, it wasn’t just about making everything prettier. A website is always a reflection of identity. It’s meant to show who you are, where you come from, and what’s happening right now. That’s exactly what we’ve been working on: the design, the structure, the details, and a better overall feel.

And yes: The font is now much easier to read.

We’ve heard you. Really. The feedback was clear, numerous, and at some point impossible to ignore. Apparently, for some readers, our previous typography was more of an endurance test than a reading experience. We’ve changed that. So you no longer have to print out the text, read it with a magnifying glass, or beg your monitor for forgiveness.

In addition to improving readability, we’ve also worked on the overall look and feel. We want the site to feel more organized, present content more effectively, and show visitors more quickly what’s happening at TRSI. Our history remains important, but we don’t want it to feel like a dusty archive. TRSI is alive, evolving, and continuing to work on new projects.

The new design is therefore not just a visual update. It’s also a small sign that more is happening here again.

Feel free to stop by, click through the new site, and give us feedback. We welcome suggestions, praise, criticism, and, of course, the phrase we’ve been working toward for a long time:

“You can read it now.”

We’re also currently working on two major sections that we’ll be integrating into the website soon. Let yourself be surprised, because the “sleeping gods” are wide awake right now.
