There are names in the scene that are simply fixtures. One of them is definitely Dalezy.

He’s been part of the C64 scene for many years, a member of TRIAD, and a constant presence in releases, at parties, and in compos. When you browse through his work, you quickly realize: This isn’t just someone who’s active. This is someone who genuinely loves sound, rhythm, and atmosphere. Someone who has been delivering consistently for years, has his own style, and shows that musically, there’s still so much more to be said on the C64.

You hear the first few seconds of his music and know why it works. There’s drive, there’s feeling, and there’s that special mix of energy, individuality, and musical intuition that can’t simply be copied. His music can groove, drive, and pack a punch. It’s often direct, sometimes raw, sometimes pretty deep, but always with a distinct signature sound.

If you look at what people write about his music, you’ll see these exact reactions time and again: they talk about groove, energy, details, and powerful sounds. And yes, sometimes they just say that a track really kicks ass.

For us at TRSI, though, this special isn’t just a playlist of great tunes. It’s also a tribute to a musician we all admire and respect.

And because the whole thing came about in collaboration with Dalezy himself, it feels even more authentic. The playlist isn’t just a random collection of SID files it’s a list of tracks that he curated himself. The idea came about at Deadline 2026, where we had the chance to discuss something like this directly. The real party is always outside. And sometimes it’s just twice as much fun to follow up your words with action.

As a web-based BBS, WESTPOINT is not just a TRSI archive, not just a retro vibe in your browser, and not just a place for files, messages, and old or new stuff. It’s also meant to be a place where people can exchange ideas and where we can offer a platform to non-TRSI members as well.

Special Radio Dalezy Skin

The Special Radio is meant to give Dalezy’s music the space it deserves. Tune in, sit back, and listen. You’ll probably recognize one or two tunes right away. Maybe you’ll discover something new, too. And perhaps it won’t be until the second or third track that you realize just how many little ideas are packed into these songs.

So, who doesn’t know Dalezy?

If you know him, you know why this special makes sense.

If you don’t know him, now’s a pretty good time to change that.
